Box Score BATAVIA, Ohio – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women's basketball team (0-4) fell to the University of Cincinnati-Clermont (1-2) this evening 52-71 after an extended break. The Pomeroys fought hard throughout but 33.3% FG shooting and 65% from the line gave SMWC they just couldn't overcome. The team was led by Sydney Ingram with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist on 4-11 shooting. She was followed by Regan Hubbard with 12 points and Maggie Reimer with 11.

- Sydney Ingram led the team in scoring for the first time this season with 13, breaking out of a scoring funk of just 9 points through the first three games.
- Avalee Jeffers just missed out on her first double-double of the season (8 points, 14 rebounds).
- The Pomeroys struggled offensively, shooting just 33.3% overall and from 3PT range. Their 65% shooting from the line cost them points as they look to improve those numbers from last season.
- SMWC out-rebounded the Cougars 36-23 as they showed strength crashing the boards.
University of Cincinnati-Clermont
- UCC was led by Kristi Duncan who posted 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. She was followed by Sara Gardner with 13 points.
- The Cougars were strong offensively, posting 51% shooting and staying nearly perfect on free throws (12-13).
