It's officially the second half of the River States Conference schedule as SMWC visits Brescia tonight, and the Pomeroys have an opportunity to match their 2022 RSC win total of eight.
SMWC (12-8, 7-3) can improve to 4-3 in road games. If the conference tournament began today, coach
Terry Bowe's squad would be hosting a first-round match up as a No. 4 seed.
But with eight games to go, plenty of work remains to earn a top four seed.
The Pomeroys remaining eight games are all against RSC West Division teams, all of which have sub-.500 records other than first-place Oakland City. SMWC plays the rival Mighty Oaks on Saturday at home and then on the road in the regular-season finale.
