Craig Hendry was Head Women's Soccer Coach on Thursday, April 12th, 2018.
In 2019, Coach Hendry guided the program to a USCAA National Tournament appearance as a #4 seed. This was the program's first postseason appearance in over ten seasons.
Professional Experience
Hendry most recently served as both the head coach for the men's/women's soccer U16-U19 teams at the Vigo County Youth Soccer Association (2012-2015). He was an assistant coach at DePauw University for six seasons (2009-2014).
At DePauw University, Hendry was part of a coaching staff that earned an overall record of 80-22-13 with two NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and three North Coast Atlantic Conference (NCAC) post-season berths; including a 2011 NCAC Championship title.
Hendry earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies, from the University of Stirling (Stirling, Scotland) before moving to the United States in 1996. In 2003, he completed the 'Transition to Teaching' program at the University of Southern Indiana.
Personal
Hendry is a fifth-grade mathematics teacher within the Southwest School Corporation in Sullivan, Indiana. He resides in Farmersburg, Indiana, with his wife Marie and has three children; Kirsten, Craig, and Keith.
Hendry was born in Glasgow, Scotland.
