Our Mission
Intramural play at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College provides an opportunity for all students of varying skill levels to participate and compete in a fun, engaging environment. Our goal is for all students to have an enjoyable and safe experience. Participants can take part on an individual or team basis in a variety of competitive and recreational activities. Traditional sports such as basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball, etc., are offered as well as non-traditional sports like Spikeball and Pickleball.
Intramural schedules often include the chance for students to compete in "one-off" events both on and off campus such as mini golf, bowling and laser tag. Traditional "season long" events are also offered with the chance to create a team with friends and compete weekly. Participation in the Intramural program is purely voluntary.
What We Offer
- Aux gym usage for students with a valid Student ID
- Students can check out basketballs in Club '64 for use in the aux gym
- Students can set up pickup basketball and other games in the AUX gym upon reservation
- All events are coed with rules and guidelines for each event being relayed to students involved in the event
- During certain team events, teams may be asked to include both male and female participants
