Jeanne Knoerle Sports and Recreation Center

The Jeanne Knoerle Sports and Recreation Center opened in fall 2014 and serves as the home for SMWC's Athletic Department and the volleyball and basketball programs. The Knoerle Center is utilized by all of our student-athletes and the campus community.

The 45,130 square foot building features two regulation basketball courts, two locker rooms, an athletic training room, athletic department offices, a 3,776 square foot fitness center (Club 64) and a 3,654 square foot gathering space/concession stand (Ariens Atrium).

The home court (Hamilton Arena) for the volleyball and basketball programs is located within the Knoerle Center. The building also features an auxillary gym that allows practice space for all of SMWC's student-athletes. The auxillary gym also serves the campus population with intramurals and wellness programs.
