OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -  SMWC has won four straight games as they defeated the NCAA Divison II Oakland City University. The Pomeroys won both games by the score of 6-1.

Game #13 | vs. Oakland City University

Taylor Andrew earned the victory on the mound for the Pomeroys. She threw a shut out in her six innings in the circle. The Pomeroys collected ten hits and did not commit a turnover. Katelynn Kennedy went 3-for-4 at the plate.

Game #14 | vs. Oakland City University

The Pomeroys were victorious over Oakland City University 6-1. SMWC scored first as Katelynn Kennedy earned an RBI. The Woods would tally three more runs in the third inning. Kennedy, Hailey Miller, and Ariel Spivey all drove in runs. Kennedy was the winning pitcher. She surrendered one run on nine hits over seven innings while she struck out nine. Hollie Jones and Spivey each collected multiple hits for the Pomeroys.

Who's On Deck?

The Pomeroys will be back on the diamond tomorrow against Oakland City University. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown out at 4:30 p.m. OCU holds a 1-10 record on the year with its only victory coming against Midway University (8-7).
