Quote | Hollie Jones

How she thought the team played as a whole today...

"The first game didn't go too well. We should have come in with more confidence but we seemed kind of flat. The second game we came back ready to fight and battle."

On what it felt like to break the career stolen base record at SMWC...

Breaking the stolen base record in 3 years rather than 4 was exciting but also a huge relief. I felt like I had a lot of pressure trying to hit, get on, and move people around. Now I am happy to go up there relaxed, not thinking and just trying to make contact with the ball. Overall, today showed us not to doubt a team so now we are ready to kick butt tomorrow."

Who's On Deck?

The Pomeroys will be back on the diamond tomorrow against Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. The first pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET.
