DUBOIS, Pa. -  Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College took the diamond against Carlow University with an elimination game at stake. The Pomeroys handled the Celtics behind very impressive pitching by Taylor Andrew and strong defensive play! SMWC will be back in action at 4:00 p.m. ET against Penn State-Brandywine!

USCAA Small College World Series Game 3 | vs. Carlow University

Senior Taylor Andrew threw an exceptional game today against the Carlow Celtics. She finished with a one-hitter and did not allow a run with two strikeouts. SMWC got on the board first after a single from Ariel Spivey on a 1-1 count. Andrew kept the no-hitter alive until the seventh inning whenever Annamarie Osiecki hit a single. Alysa Fairman took the loss on the mound for the Celtics. The Pomeroys defense did not commit an error. in the field, Hollie Jones led the team with eight put-outs.
