NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women's volleyball team (5-4) saw their 4-match win streak cut short in a 1-3 loss to Indiana University-Southeast (4-6) last night. The Pomeroys clawed their way back from a rough first set, but were unable to force a fifth and fall to 1-1 in conference play.

Alondra Garcia led the team with 15 and 14 kills respectively.
The Highlights | vs. IU-Southeast
- Hannah Zuege continued her stellar start to the season, leading the team with 15 kills. She was followed by Alondra Garcia with 14. Both players led the team with 18 digs apiece.
- Sophomore Savannah McCoy turned in another high kill percentage performance, posting 6 kills on 16 attacks for a 31.2% kill percentage.
- Ariana Hernandez paced the team with 22 assists, followed by Adrienne Roberts with 15 to account for 80% of the Pomeroys' assists.
- A slow night defensively at the net for SMWC as the team only recorded 2 total blocks and one block error
