Box Score PITTSBURGH, Penn. – In a battle of RSC opponents, the Women's Basketball team was plagued by fouls as they fell 64-77 to Point Park University (11-6, 4-4) this evening. Despite the loss, freshman Brooklyn Jones poured in a career-high 19 points off the bench for SMWC.
By the Numbers
- Jones led the team with 19 points, followed by Destiny Thomas and Avalee Jeffers with 10 each.
- Jones and Allyson Hardiek both secured 9 rebounds apiece and Jeffers recorded 8.
- The team's shooting struggled a bit again as they shot just over 40% and went 3-19 from 3-pt range.
- Foul trouble was the biggest issue of the night as the Pomeroys committed 24 to the Pioneer's 12.
