The No. 5-seeded Saint Mary-of-the-Woods women's volleyball team lost 3-0 to No. 4 Midway on Friday, falling 25-12, 25-13, 25-17.
The Pomeroys struggled to get an attack going, finishing the match with a -.082 hitting percentage. Hannah Zuege led the team with seven kills.
The Pomeroys finish an historic season in their second season under the direction of head coach Ashley Harris. SMWC finished with a school record 26 wins and went 12-6 to tie with Midway for the fourth-best won-loss record in the league.
The Pomeroys will lose senior setter Katelyn Bucy and senior defensive specialist Sydni Bailey to graduation.

The All-RSC teams were also named Friday, with Pomeroys' senior Hannah Zuege and sophomore libero Jocelyn Chavez earning First-Team All-Conference honors. Zuege finished with 207 kills during RSC games, finishing sixth in the league.
Chavez, meanwhile, led the RSC, by a wide margin, with 394 digs. Chavez ranked 11th in the national NAIA rankings with 6.25 digs per set during conference play.
Vivien Reese was recognized as the team's Champion of Character award recipient.
