NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The SMWC Men's Basketball team (3-23, 0-15) faced perhaps their stiffest competition of the season in a 58-100 loss to IU-Southeast. The team is down to just six total players as they continue to show heart and grit in the final games of the season. Elkin Ramirez has a solid game, scoring 33 points off 7-13 shooting while also pulling down five rebounds.

- Ramirez led all players with 33 points, followed by Damon Ogletree with 10 for SMWC.
- Dakota Sampson just missed out on a double-double with 10 rebounds and 9 points.
- The team had a much better shooting 2nd half, shooting 53.3% compared to 25% shooting in the first half.
