Elkin Ramirez paced a balanced effort from the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods men's basketball team with 20 points as the Pomeroys cruised to a 92-66 River States Conference victory against Carlow on Saturday at Hamilton Arena.
Davin Miller added 16 points, five rebounds and two blocks in the Pomeroys' first home win of the season.
Keith Germain posted 14 points, five boards and two blocks. J.J. Evans had nine points and a pair of steals.
The Pomeroys snapped a six-game losing streak and improved to 7-14 overall and 2-10 in the RSC.
SMWC returns to action Thursday against IU East at Hamilton Arena.
