Jeremiah Tosky threw for 250 yards and four touchdowns Saturday, leading SMWC to a 43-14 victory in Midwest Sprint Football League action at Midway.
The Pomeroys (6-1) clinched a share of the Midwest Sprint Football League regular-season title thanks to Quincy's 28-18 victory over Bellarmine.
SMWC will face Quincy (5-2) in a MSFL semifinal next Saturday at Jay Barrett Field. Bellarmine (6-1) will face Calumet College of St. Joseph (4-3) in the other semifinal.

Blaine Powell praised Tosky's play but also his receivers. Sophomore
Devron Johnson had seven receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown to lead the Pomeroys. Johnson has 573 yards receiving with a team-best 30 receptions, leading the league in receiving yards with the best season in the two-year history of the league.

Abbott Church also caught TDs and
Corbyn Cleveland had two catches for 19 yards.
"We had some really nice catches today from all our receivers," Powell said.
SMWC defensive backs also had some nice catches as the Pomeroys intercepted five passes, giving SMWC a league-best 16 picks this season.
Kerry Lacey returned an interception 44 yards for a touchdown, and
Gavin Roddy had a 56-yard interception return.
Jordan Foster had a pick for a third straight game, and
Austin Petrillo had his third pick of the season. Jasey had the other interception.
The Pomeroys built a 24-0 lead after one quarter and led 30-7 at halftime. Midway continued to run the ball, finishing with 187 yards on the ground.
"We just did a good job defensively. The stats show them rushing for some yards. They hit us with a big one. They ran for some yards late," Powell said.
