Montgomery, W.V. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team dropped a narrow 1-0 decision at West Virginia Tech in the regular season finale as the River States Conference slate comes to a close.
The Pomeroys finish the season with a 2-10-5 overall record as well as a 1-5-3 mark in league contests.
Kennedy Trigg led the offensive attack with seven shots in the contest including six shots on goal.
Raelee Everhart had a shot on goal as well.
It was scoreless at the half before West Virginia Tech broke through with a goal in the 48th minute for a 1-0 lead that they would not relinquish..
Lauren Rindone recorded five saves in goal for the Pomeroys while
