SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Athletics Department and Refreshment Services Pepsi are partnering all year long to honor a deserving male and female athlete as their athletes of the month.

For the month of November, Brooklynn Jones was honored from the SMWC women's basketball team while Greg Jenkins picks up the honor as a member of the men's basketball team.

Jones reached the 1,000 points scored career milestone and helped lead the Pomeroys to a win over cross-town rival Rose-Hulman early in the month. Jones is averaging 11.2 points per game and is hitting over 50 percent of her field goals on the season. SMWC returns to action on December 13 when they travel to Cumberlands (Ky.) at 5:30 pm (ET).

Jenkins was named the River States Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice in the last month and is averaging 15.6 points per game. He also has 50 assists and 20 steals so far as the Pomeroys are on an eight-game winning streak. SMWC will host Simmons (Ky.) tonight (Dec. 5) at 7 pm (ET) inside Knoerle Center.
