She was named Academic All-Conference at Olney Central.

While at West Vigo, Waters earned four varsity letters in softball and cheer leading as well as one letter in basketball ... She earned her softball team's mental attitude award and was named the defensive player of the year ... To go with her accolades on the field, she was also a member of the National Honor Society.
