Saint Mary-of-the-Woods

In her first season as an assistant softball coach and recruiting coordinator for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is Jen Sollars. 

Sollars joins the Pomeroys after serving as the Assistant Coach at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the primary hitting coach and helped the Hawks achieve a 33-8 season, including qualifying for and hosting their first NCAA D3 tournament birth in college history. 

Before Huntingdon, Sollars spent two season with the Ball State University softball staff. During her time at BSU she recruited, planned practices, made game strategies, and encouraged player development. 

Prior to BSU, she spent 15 years as a travel ball coach, at all ages and skill levels. She also coached 4 years of high school travel baseball and had been a Unified partner/coach in the Indiana Special Olympic State Games.
