Aaron Crawn was hired as the Assistant Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach on August 2, 2019.
Professional Experience | 2008 - 2019
Aaron joined the department after serving as the Boy’s Head Soccer coach at his former high school, Northview, from 2015-2019 and leading them to a conference championship in 2018. Before that, he leads the Girl’s squad at Northview from 2013-2015.
Before Northview, Aaron worked with both the Men’s track and Women’s cross country teams at Merrilville High School from 2008-2013. There, he helped guide them to 3 different individual Semi-state qualifiers in 2008, 2012, and 2013, and a regional qualifier finishes in 2012 and 2013.
Personal
Hailing from Brazil, Ind., Aaron graduated from Northview High School before continuing his education at Indiana State University and currently holds a Master’s degree in Coaching. Named MVP his senior year at Northview, he holds the school record in the 4x800m relay. At ISU, he posted personal bests in 1500 (4:04), 3000 (8:50), 3000m Steeplechase (9:40), and mile (4:24).
Aaron resides in Brazil, Indiana, with his wife Molly, and their two children, Landon and Lucy.
