Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women's basketball team (0-2) fell to Carlow University (1-1) this evening 29-48. The low-scoring output by the Pomeroys was evidence of very low shooting percentages and high turnovers. The Pomeroys' top scorers were Kalyn Williams and Sydney Ingram with 6 points apiece.

- Carlow struggled offensively as well, only shooting 28.4% (12.5% from 3-point range) and went 4-10 from the line, but was able to shoot just well enough to edge SMWC.
- The 78 combined points is the lowest total in an SMWC over the past 10 years.

"I was proud of how hard our kids played, they had great energy and our communication was much better than last week which accounted for us playing even for 3 of the 4 quarters. We had a mental toughness lapse in the 3rd which was the deciding factor in the game. They're startig to hold themselves accountable and we're looking forward to getting back in the gym to get back to work."
