RICHMOND, Ind. – The SMWC Men's Basketball (2-15) were defeated by IU-East yesterday 64-113. The loss brings them to 2-15 on the season as they search for their first road win.
Jadyn McHugh led the team with 27 points whith
Damon Ogletree pouring in 10 and adding 8 rebounds. Newcomer
Dakota Sampson, a transfer from Ohio Valley University, made his SMWC debut scoring points while adding 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal.
By the Numbers
- McHiugh paced the team with 27 points scored, followed by Ogletree with 10, and Robert DeSilvia with 8.
- Ogletree's 10 rebounds was second among all players. He was followed by DeSilvia and Elkin Ramirez with 5 apiece.
- The team shot just over 50% in the first half, but began to fade in the 2nd to finish the night 25-56 from the field. The men would go 2-12 from deep and 12-20 at the line.
- The Pomeroys would continue to struggle with ball security as they turn the ball over 27 times.

Both the men's and women's teams will face Carlow University on January 20th at 5:30 p.m. ET for the women and 7:30 for the men.
