Men's Basketball Drop to 0-8 in RSC play with Loss to Point Park

PITTSBURGH, Penn. – The Men's Basketball team fell to 2-16 on the season and 0-8 in the RSC with their 54-79 loss to Point Park this afternoon. The Pomeroys found themselves down just 8 at the half, but would fade in the 2nd half, giving up 41 points to the Pioneers. Freshman Jadyn McHugh finished the game with 18 points while pulling down a couple rebounds.
By the Numbers
  • McHugh led the team with 18 points, followed by Jamarius Evanswith 9.
  • Dakota Sampson's 11 rebounds led all players. He was followed on the Pomeroy side of the ball by Damon Ogletree with 8.
  • The team's had some shooting issues again as they shot 36.9% and went 3-18 from 3-pt range.
  • SMWC turned the ball over 17 times to Point Park's 12 and committed 15 fouls to their 12.
