SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – The SMWC Men's Basketball team (3-22, 0-14) lost to Ohio Christian University 56-87 last night as they continue to search for their first conference win. The team struggled heavily to get their shots up, going 31.4% from the field and just 22.7% from 3-point range. Battling injuries and adversity all year, the young team played hard but couldn't keep up in the 2nd half.
By The Numbers
- Damon Ogletree led the team with 17 points, followed by Elkin Ramirez with 16, and Dakota Sampson with 12
- Sampson's 10 rebounds gave him yet another double-double on the season, he was followed by Ogletree with 9.
- Ohio Christian did well in the paint, scoring 32 points as their big men were able to assert control
