OWENSBORO, Ken. – The SMWC Men's Basketball team (3-21, 0-13) saw their furious comeback to Brescia University cut short last night as they fell 71-79. The big men led the way with Dakota Sampson scoring a season-high 29 points and Damon Ogletree adding 18 of his own. The Pomeroys host Ohio Christian University (7-16, 5-9) Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

- Sampson's 29 points led all players on the evening and Ogletree's 18 tied his for second on points scored.
- The team shot well, going 31-55 from the field but 4-11 from deep. The Pomeroys turned the ball over 21 times to the Trailblazers 10.
- SMWC will look to start strong against an Ohio Christian team averaging 74.3 ppg but allowing almost 80 ppg.
