Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's basketball improve to 12-8 overall while improving to 7-3 in the conference. With the win over Shawnee State Madison Feuger had 26 points and 6 rebounds.
Brooklynn Jones was not far behind her with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
In the first quarter we trailed 13-17. Did not have as many rebounds as the Pomeroy's would of hoped. SMWC came in at 4 rebounds and Shawnee had 10. Second quarter is when the Pomeroy's started to step up their play.

Terry Bowe squad led at halftime 16-13 and for the rest of the next half the Pomeroy's led. The third quarter
Madison Fueger go to the paint and was able to get fouled, she went 11-12 from the free throw line.
With six minutes left in the fourth quarter
Samara Douglas with a layup to put the squad up 53-49. Shawnee then responded with 2 field goals bringing the deficit to 53-51. With a good layup from
Brooklynn Jones led the Pomeroy's 57-53 with less than four minutes left. With just 3 seconds left Jones was able to make a free throw to end the game with Pomeroy's 63 and Shawnee 60.
