KOKOMO, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team fell 3-0 on the road against IU-Kokomo on Saturday evening (Oct. 12).
The Pomeroys fell to 1-8-2, 0-3 RSC on the season while IU-Kokomo improved to 5-6-2, 2-1-1 RSC.
SMWC held a 23-20 edge in shots in the contest, paced by three each on goal from
Kennedy Trigg,
Hope Donald and
Raelee Everhart. In total, the Pomeroys had 11 shots on frame in the contest.
It was a busy evening in goal for
Lauren Rindone who faced 16 shots on goal in the contest and recorded 13 saves.
The Pomeroys return to action on Thursday, October 17 when they host IU-Columbus at 1 pm (ET) at the SMWC Soccer Complex.
