SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting Midway (Ky.) at the SMWC Soccer Complex on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 19).
The Pomeroys dropped to 3-10, 1-3 RSC while Midway improved to 5-8-1, 2-3-1 RSC.
Midway took a 1-0 lead that they would not relinqush with a goal in the 33rd minute.
Harry Jackson recorded six saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal for the Pomeroys. SMWC recorded 13 shots including six of which came on goal.
Taiwo Anifowose and
Marc Valderrama each recorded a pair of shots on goal in the contest.
SMWC returns to action on Thursday, October 24 when they travel to IU-East for a 7:30 pm (ET) kickoff.
