PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw in River States Conference action at Shawnee State on Saturday (Oct. 26).
SMWC moved to 2-9-4 on the season with a 1-4-2 record in conference play while Shawnee State moved to 3-7-3 overall and 3-2-2 inside the RSC.
Dree Wilson spent all 90 minutes in goal for the Pomeroys and kept a clean sheet while posting three saves.
SMWC had offensive opportunities as they held a 7-3 edge in shots on goal paced by two from
Kennedy Trigg.
Hope Donald,
Lois Carr,
Raelee Everhart,
Chloe Field and
Kaylee Lowe shared the other five scoring opportunities. The Pomeroys also held an 8-5 edge in overall shots in the contest.
The Pomeroys will return home on Thursday, October 31 for their final home contest of the season when they host Brescia (Ky.) at 1 pm (ET) inside the SMWC Soccer Complex.
