The Pomeroys (1-7-1, 1-2-0 River States Conference) fouhgt off six shots on goal, including five in the second half to get the win.
"We are striving to get better every day," Cole added, "and we look forward to preparing for a tough opponent at home Thursday."
SMWC faces nationally-ranked Rio Grande on Thursday.
