SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer program will travel across the Wabash River and along historic US Highway 40 on Thursday as they open the 2024 regular season at Indiana State inside Memorial Stadium.
The game time is currently set for 6:00 p.m. (ET). This is a change from the originally scheduled time due to the threat of inclement weather.Â
The match is "Youth Soccer Night" with all Wabash Valley youth soccer players invited to the contest to check out two of the premier collegiate clubs in the Wabash Valley. The Pomeroys will open the s6ason after earlier this week being picked to finish fifth in the River States Conference Preseason Poll of league head coaches.
Last year, the Pomeroys had its first winning record in River States Conference play by a posting a 4-3-3 record in the league and 5-7-5 overall.

Kennedy Trigg led the team in goals with seven while adding four assists. whileÂ
Raelee Everhart added five. All today, nine different Pomeroys scored goals in 2023.Â
