TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team faced off against cross town rival Rose-Hulman on Friday night (Aug. 30) and the match ended in the 57th minute when lightening was detected in the area.
The match was declared a no contest with Rose-Hulman owning a 2-0 advantage.
Kennedy Trigg and Abbi Scott each recorded shots on goal in the contest.Â
The two teams battled to 0-0 tie in the first half before RHIT scored a pair of goals after the break until the skies opened.
SMWC returns to action on Wednesday, September 4 at 5:30 p.m. (ET) when they host Anderson University at the SMWC Soccer Complex.
