SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind.  – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's basketball team has once again earned recognition in the latest NAIA National Coaches Poll, receiving nine votes, which places them 37th nationally. This marks the second consecutive week the Pomeroys have received votes in the prestigious poll, a testament to their strong performances this season.

SMWC is 17-3 on the season and leads the River States Conference Western Division by three games with a 7-1 league mark. The Pomeroys begin a three-game conference home stand on Thursday.

The Pomeroys will return to action on Thursday, January 30, when they host Shawnee State University at 5:30 p.m. (ET) inside the Knoerle Center. SMWC's women's basketball team will also be in action on Thursday, facing Shawnee State at 7:30 p.m. (ET) in a River States Conference matchup.
