Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team fell to Anderson on Saturday, 7-0, to move to 1-7 on the year.
Anderson tallied five goals in the first half and two goals in the second half to hand SMWC the loss. The Pomeroys recorded four shots on the day. Freshman Ashley Jezik was the lone Pomeroy with multiple shots on the afternoon with two.
The Pomeroys will be back in action on September 28th when they head to crosstown rival Rose-Hulman to play in the Fightin' Engineers annual Grey Matters Awareness game. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
