#PomeroyWSC Falls to Crosstown Rival RHIT

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team fell to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday night, 5-1.

SMWC's crosstown rivals got on the board three times in the first half, with goals for RHIT coming in the seventh, 13th and 25th minute. In the first half, RHIT held a 10-1 shot advantage over the Pomeroys and took a 3-0 lead into halftime.

The second half saw the tables turn with SMWC having a 5-4 shot advantage, but RHIT would take a 4-0 lead in the 66th minute. Senior Cami Navarra then tallied SMWC's lone goal of the evening, her third of the season. RHIT would add one more goal to make the final score 5-1.

SMWC now sits at 1-8 and will be back in action this Saturday when they host Oakland City for homecoming at 11 a.m.
