Box Score LINCOLN, Ill. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College volleyball team fell to Lincoln Christian on Wednesday night, 3-1 (25-27, 25-20, 21-25, 21-25).
Sophomore Gabriella Slagle led the Pomeroys with 12 kills, while sophomore McKenzi Kumpf added 10 more. Sophomore Mary Alvanos notched 34 assists, and junior Madeline Howes recorded 14 digs. Sophomore Monica Mack performed well at the net with three block assists and two solo blocks.
The Pomeroys will be back in action on October 1 when they host Oakland City for homecoming at 2 p.m. The Pomeroys are now 3-13 on the year and will enjoy a six match home stand beginning Saturday.
