Chicago, Ill. - The Pomeroys found their winning way today as they defeated Lincoln College in 4-sets. SMWC was led in game one by McKenzi Kumpf,
Gabriella Slagle, and Alexis Woodburn who combined for 30 kills. Against the Robert Morris University Eagles, the volleyball team was swept 3-sets to lose the match despite taking RMU to a 28-26 set-2 contest.

- The Pomeroys finished the weekend 1-3 as they competed against solid NAIA talent
- McKenzi Kumpf tallied 24 kills on the day; 13 cames in game two against the Eagles
- Gabriella Slagle concluded the two-games with 19 kills
- Katelyn Cotter continued her passing skill set as she recorded 50 total assists
- Freshman Alexis Woodburn recorded 11 kills and showed her ability to play against NAIA-level talent
