LAST TIME OUT
The Pomeroys (3-2) look to build off a 109-55 victory in their home opener against UHSP. Cobie Barnes and Chaz Birchfield led five players in double figures with 18 points apiece. Birchfield said the Pomeroys, a team with 13 transfers coming in this season, are beginning to "mold together."

Shon Tupuola tied a school record with 17 rebounds against Trinity Christian last week. Tupuola, a 6-foot-9 freshman, is averaging 8.2 points-per-game and 7.6 rebounds. He's made 18 of his 21 shot attempts (85.7 percent), ranking fourth in the nation in field-goal percentage.

Senior transfer Cobie Barnes is 38th in the NAIA in scoring at 20.1 ppg through five games. The 6-7 guard is shooting 43 percent overall and 87.5 percent at the free-throw line (21 for 24). 

CAUSING HAVOC
Guard Greg Jenkins has 15 steals through five games, which ranks 38th in NAIA. The junior from Indianapolis, Ind., is averaging 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.1 assissts to go with the 3.0 steals.

OFFENSIVE START
SMWC is averaging 86.4 points through five games, ranking 39th in the NAIA. The Pomeroys are shooting exactly 50 percent from the field (172 of 344). The Pomeroys are hitting 30.9 percent from the 3-point arc and 72.5 percent at the free-throw line.
